One of my goals for 2024 was to learn more about bees and pollinators, so, in that spirit, here’s a video! It explains how wild bees and other insects are the ones in real danger. If you want to learn more, I recommend this article by a bee researcher at UBC.
Your and my homework this week is to find out about a few native bees and pollinators in our area and what we might do to encourage their habitat.
