The “Farm”
Cactus Shack City “Farm” is my tiny puzzle piece of 180 sq/ft of inner city growing space in Vancouver, BC where I grow over 20 different crops.
My original dream was to purchase some land and on the Gulf Islands set up a sprawling permaculture oasis but then property prices soared and I was out-priced out of last few postal codes I could ever hope to afford. I’m focusing most of my efforts now on community food security and working with what I have. I run my tiny little enterprise like a farm so that I can put theory into practice. I produce peppers, tomatoes, carrots, asparagus, chard, potatoes, and host of other crops!

*World’s Smallest CSA: I have no way of verifying this and it is only meant to draw attention to how small you can start in providing food security and reciprocity in your community
